A little bit of pre-holiday progress on Quicksliver Looks like the summer doldrums and vacations have hit the Quicksliver progress bar. Here it is going on 10 days after the last post and we’re just under 80% of funding for Chapter 6, with the two most recent donations coming in the form of checks to the PO Box. You may actually end up with a two part add-on for Chapter 6 — we’ll see how that works once I’m down to it. In addition to the work on Quicksliver we’re in the midst of prepping the house to put it up for sale (and we’re also looking for another house, in town and closer to the interstate, the railroad station, the bookstore, and the ocean…)and we’ve got about 2/3 of the first book of the next 5 Liaden books in rough draft about now.
